Miscellany

1) The 2007 edition of the Serapis Christmas Extravagaplooza was on December 7/8 at Tuner's this year.

Every year we have a gig in December at Tuner's, this year was just a little earlier. It is always a lot of fun, as people are in full holiday mode.

Mirth and merriment abounded. Have you ever written that sentence? I hadn't until now.

2) The new web site www.iloveserapis.com is up and running. right now it is just like our other site. That may change. It may not. That's the beauty of these internets. You can change and yet still stay the same.

3) Was flipping past "The Set" on CCIN (Charter Channel 3), and had to stop and listen to Spooky Daly Pride. Spooky is from the Boston area, and in St. Louis he is backed by Madahoochi. It had a nice sound. Madahoochi is a quality band, you should try to see them. It would be fun to play a festival with them sometime.

4) If you ever wanted to see large numbers of fabulous-looking women, you only need attend a Dan Fogelberg concert. His passing was a loss to the world of music.

5) As was Oscar Peterson's.

6) Dr. Seuss said: "Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened"

Happy Christmas from all of us in Serapis. Here's to 2008!
